The Cajun & Zydeco Mardi Gras Ball, Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, Cranston, RI.

An annual  evening of dance, costumes and merriment taking place in February each year. This year’s event is on February 23, 2012 and features Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, Andre Thierry and Zydeco Magic and Jeffrey Broussard & the Creole Cowboys.

Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, Walsh Farm, Oak Hill, NY.

Five stages of bluegrass, newgrass, old timey, acoustic Americana etc… Dance stage featuring Cajun, Zydeco, blues, rockabilly, swing and dance.  Public phone is 888-946-8495.  Held the third weekend in July.   Next event is July 18 – 21, 2013.

Annual Rhythm & Roots Festival , Ninigret Park, Charlestown RI.

Four stages of Americana, blues, Cajun, country, latin, swing, rockabilly and  Zydeco.  Public phone is 888-855-6940.  Held every Labor Day weekend.  Next event is August 31,  September 1 & 2, 2012.
