It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Lagniappe Productions will no longer be affiliated with the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival. We had a great run successfully transitioning to the festival’s current location in Oak Hill, NY and winning an IBMA award for Bluegrass Event of the Year in 2011. I would like to thank Mary Doub, the Doub family and the entire Grey Fox staff for the opportunity to work with one of the top bluegrass festivals anywhere in the world. Mostly, I would like to offer up my utmost respect and gratitude to the musicians, sound crews, stage managers, stage hands, tour and road managers, roadies, site crews and most of the talent agents who I have had the pleasure to work with on this festival. You all are the reason that we produced the sweetest sounds on the planet that resonated from the Grey Fox stage each and every year.
My immediate plans are to concentrate more fully on the exciting developments brewing with the Rhythm & Roots Festival. Moving forward, Mary and I will continue to partner on Rhythm & Roots as we are developing relationships with roots music organizations worldwide to bring more new and undiscovered music to R&R. Stay tuned for the upcoming series programs to be aired next year on Rhode Island PBS-TV of live concert video recorded at Rhythm & Roots 2014. We’ll see you next Labor Day Weekend, if not sooner.

We’ll be accepting band submissions from October 1, 2014 through November 30, 2014 for 2015 Festival Season.
Please mail media kits with physical CD’s to Lagniappe Productions, 51 White Oak Court, Wakefield RI 02879.
Due to the large number of submissions that we receive for all of our events, we will contact you only if we decide to hire you.
Unsolicited submissions rarely are chosen to play at any of these events, and our policy does not extend to sending out notifications to those who will not be selected to play. So please, if you do not hear from us, that means that you were not selected to play at any of our events this year and you do not need to call the office repeatedly to find out about your status. This only hurts your chances for next year. We will contact you if we have a spot for you.
Thank you for your time and understanding. ~Chuck
